I’m Shreyas Boddu, a 10th grader at Central Bucks High School South and a co-founder of TensionX. I’ve been playing tennis for three years; I first took USTA lessons before competing on my middle and high school teams.

As my interest in the sport grew, I started to consider how players’ equipment could enhance their performance in addition to their training.

I observed that many players, including myself, struggled to find trustworthy stringing services and often felt uncertain about which strings and tensions would work best for their game, leading to confusion and frequent string breakage.

These encounters motivated me to contribute to the founding of TensionX, a business dedicated to providing players with more personalized stringing solutions.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy biking around, playing video games, and spending time with friends, and I bring the same curiosity and attention to detail into everything I do at TensionX.
